I stand for art ,love, freedom and acceptance!

The thunderstorm in the monkey’s head symbolises the wicked headache I get when I try to understand the truth behind all the sophisticated, deceptive words. Normally I find it difficult to take a political stance with my work, because you can easily step on a few toes and unknowingly hurt someone, but this is different. So, once and for all:

I don’t understand how you can justify the suffering of other people or even seek reasons to explain such things, no matter how complex and well chosen the words are.

For art, for love, for freedom, for acceptance! Everywhere, not only in and for regions like Palestine, Ukraine, Nagorno-Karabakh, Myanmar... where the situations are really on fire, but also in small, interpersonal day-to-day situations, exchange and communication should be the way instead of violent force. I STRONGLY BELIEVE IN A TOGETHER, NOT IN AN AGAINST EACH OTHER. (Also in interaction with the more-than-human-world)

Ich stehe für Kunst, Liebe, Freiheit und Akzeptanz!

Das Gewitter im Kopf des Affen symbolisiert die bösen Kopfschmerzen, die ich bekomme, wenn ich versuche, die Wahrheit hinter all den ausgefeilten, trügerischen Worten zu verstehen. Normalerweise finde ich es schwierig, mit meiner Arbeit eine politische Haltung einzunehmen, denn man kann leicht auf ein paar Füße treten und unwissentlich jemanden verletzen, aber das hier ist anders. Also, ein für alle Mal:

Ich verstehe nicht, wie man das Leid anderer Menschen rechtfertigen oder gar Gründe suchen kann, um solche Dinge zu erklären, egal wie komplex und wohl überlegt die Worte sind.

Für die Kunst, für die Liebe, für die Freiheit, für die Akzeptanz! Überall, nicht nur in und für Regionen wie Palästina, Ukraine, Berg-Karabach, Myanmar... wo es wirklich brennt, sondern auch in kleinen, zwischenmenschlichen Alltagssituationen, sollte Austausch und Kommunikation der Weg sein, statt Gewalt. ICH GLAUBE FEST AN EIN MITEINANDER, NICHT AN EIN GEGENEINANDER. (Auch in der Interaktion mit der über-menschlichen Welt)
