This work also displays a certain degree of overload: I find it difficult to restrain myself and I literally have to smash fundamental principles such as "form follows function" into my fingers. This is reflected in this work "Gestaltungspersönlichkeitsstörung" (translates to: Designpersonalitydisorder), without having understood it so precisely at the time (summer 21). Like many young artists, at the beginning of my journey I was obsessed with finding "my style" and establishing a position. But instead of working with what I already had, what came intrinsically from me, I was always looking for something new, something different than what I already had. As it happens, this is not just a 'me' problem, but a core problem of our consumer system. More about this "never-enough-approach" in the work "NevaEva,Nie&Nimmer".

Today, while writing this text, I have largely found myself design wise (which I think is what the style search is actually about). So I can look at that time from a grounded perspective and describe the massive influences as inspiration without just wanting to copy them (Shoutout @Tekkon Kinkreet*, for great colour palettes and contouring).

Auch hier in diesem Werk ist eine gewisse Überladung zu erkennen. Es fällt mir schwer mich zu zügeln und fundamentale Grundsätze wie „form follows function“, muss ich mir wortwörtlich in die Finger prügeln. Das spiegelt dieses Werk „Gestaltungspersönlichkeitsstörung“ wider, ohne es damals (Sommer 21) so genau verstanden zu haben. Ähnlich wie viele junge Künstler*innen war ich zu Beginn meiner Reise versteift darauf „meinen Style“ zu finden. Anstatt aber mit dem zu Arbeiten, was ich bereits hatte, was intrinsisch aus mir kam, war ich stets auf der Suche nach etwas Neuem, etwas Anderem, als das was ich bereits hatte. Das ist zufäligerweise nicht nur ein Ich-Problem, sondern ein Kernproblem des Konsumsystems. Mehr zu diesem „Nie-Genug-Ansatz“ in dem Werk „ NevaEva,Nie&Nimmer“.

Heute, beim Schreiben dieses Textes, habe ich mich größtenteils gefunden (worum es, denke ich, bei der „Style-Suche“ eigentlich geht). Daher kann ich die damalige Zeit aus einer gefestigten Postion betrachten und die massiven Einflüsse als Inspiration beschreiben, ohne sie nur kopieren zu wollen (Shoutout @Tekkon Kinkreet*, für krasse Farbräume und Linienführung).
